Pie-Crust Table

This mahogany tea table has a few unique characteristics. First, the top can tilt vertically, as shown, to save space while still displaying the piece. Also, the top can spin like a lazy susan when it is flat. Finally, the top is actually removable for transport. Other highlights are the single 36" wide board used for the top and the carved "crust" and ball and claw feet. This table was featured on an episode of "Rough Cut: Woodworking with Tommy Mac" on PBS.
